First University Publishing House at UJ

The University of Jordan announced the establishment of a Publishing House, which is the first of its kind in Jordanian universities.

The Director of the newly established House, Dr. Hind Abu Al-Sha’ar, said that "the establishment of the Publishing House stems from the enlightening mission of UJ, and its desire for implanting the culture of excellence and spreading innovation and disseminating its scientific achievements."

The university adopts, according to Dr. Abu Al-Sha’ar, high standards to achieve creativity, quality and modernity in the various fields of culture, literature and science.

The Director of the House said that it will open its doors for printing and publishing various types of books, scientific references, translations, and research theses.

The Publishing House was registered after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, under the name “the University of Jordan Publishing House Company for Publication and Distribution” as a limited liability company based on Law No. (22) of the year 1997.
