Welcome to the web page of the Human Development and Capabilities Association’s 2010 Conference. The central theme of this year’s conference is “Human Rights and Human Development.” The HDCA Conference Committee and the Local Organizers are looking forward to welcoming you in Amman, where the conference will be hosted by the University of Jordan.  We are enthusiastic that for the first time we will be holding our international conference in the Middle East and we are anticipating an event that will bring together scholars and participants from all over the world to discuss ideas and research from many disciplines on issues related to human development, human rights, impoverishment, justice, and well-being.
